Warp Direction Cross Twill Weave
  • Warp Direction Cross Twill Weave

It is a type of twill weave obtained as a result of the displacement of the movements in the report of any twill weave. It is obtained by relocating any twill weave pattern from the half in the WARP or WEFT direction from the end to the beginning. Cross twill weaves; It is used for weaving dress, coat, jacket and cover fabrics. Cross twill weave; It is of two types, in the WEFT direction and the WARP direction.

CROSS TWILL KNIT IN THE WARP DIRECTION

The given twill weave pattern is divided into two equal parts in the warp direction. In the first area, it is embroidered in half in accordance with the twill weave technique. In the second area, the twill weave report is processed from the end to the beginning and the knitting is completed. When choosing the twill weave pattern, it is important to make sure that it has even numbers so that it can be divided into two equal parts.

Let's draw the CROSS TWILN weave in the WARP direction from the weave. Let's remember the twill weave drawings; Accordingly, the sum of the numbers above and below the knitting line gave the number of warp and weft wires that should be included in the report. 2+2 = 4 In other words, 4 Warp and 4 Weft Twill ways will be right-handed. First, let's determine the report boundaries of our Twill weave, which will form the basis for the drawing of the CROSS TWILL weave in the Warp direction.

In the warp direction, the number of warp and weft wires that the Cross Twill weave should contain in the pattern is the same as the twill weave that will form the drawing of this weave. So; 4 warps and 4 wefts.Prior to; We do the same with the 1st and 2nd warp threads in the twill weave, that is, we write.

Now, let's explain how to draw the CROSS TWILN in the TRANSVERSE DIRECTION from the multi-way twill weave shown below.

Let's remember the twill weave drawings; Accordingly, the sum of the numbers above and below the knitting line gave the number of warp and weft wires that should be included in the report. 1+1+2+2+3+3+3+3+2+2= 22 So 22 Warp and 22 Weft Twill ways It will be right-handed.
