Warp Knitting Machines
  • Warp Knitting Machines

In the warp knitting technique, the yarns that will form the texture are wrapped in the warp beams beforehand, as in weaving machines, and sent to the knitting zone collectively. It is the fastest fabric making technique. At least one thread comes to each needle, and for the formation of the loop, all the needles are lifted up at the same time and the loops are formed at the same time in each horizontal and vertical row.

Knitting surface is formed by forming a linked loop by making a zigzag in the transverse and longitudinal directions. Due to this feature, it is not possible to disassemble the fabric and escape the loops in warp knitting. The flexibility of knitting is very low.

The loops used in warp knitting are formed in two ways, open loop and closed loop, according to the foot connection structures and the image they give in the structure. The most prominent feature is that the foot parts of the closed loop are not crossed, while the foot parts of the open loop are not crossed.

Warp knitting machines; Tricot (warp automaton) is divided into two groups as raschel. In the past, flexible needles were used in Tricot machines and hooked needles were used in Raschel machines. By looking at the needle type of a machine, tricot or

appears to be raschel. Today, both needles have been replaced by a compound needle (slide needle). The role of platinum and platinum used in the formation of loops plays an important role in understanding the machine in which the fabric is produced. It has a wide range of uses such as sports, packaging, automotive, military, clothing, etc..

In this knitting machine with two beds perpendicular to each other, flexible needles are used. To aid knitting, the machine has thread guides. While the lower needle bed only oscillates, the upper needle bed can both oscillate and move back and forth.

Sliding needles are used in this knitting machine, where there are two beds perpendicular to each other. To aid knitting, the machine has thread guides. While the lower needle bed can only move up and down, the upper needle bed can both oscillate and move back and forth.

In this knitting machine with two beds perpendicular to each other, flexible needles are used. To aid knitting, the machine has thread guides. While the lower needle bed can only move up and down, the upper needle bed can move both oscillating and back and forth, and can also provide a movement close to rotation.

Flexible point needles are used in this simple machine with a single horizontally positioned needle bed. Needles move back and forth in the needle bed.

In these knitting machines with slightly more complex structures, the latch needles are moved, allowing more movement in a larger number of needle beds. The beds at the bottom are not flat but positioned at an angle to each other. Likewise, the number of thread guides used has been increased.

Both the lower and upper bearings are located in the machine at an angle to each other. While the upper bearings make oscillating and forward-backward movements, the lower bearings move back and forth. Flexible needles are used. There are thread guides.
