    Embossed paths and motifs are opened on the fabric surface where the far warp or weft threads are closed. .

    Cotton, silk or rayon yarns are preferred for weaving piqué knits. Additional padding weft or padding warp to make the pattern more distinct. Different from being a floor and piqué weave Plain weave is used as the ground weave. It can be woven with dobby or jacquard weaving machines according to the size of the pattern. Pike knits are preferred for the pleasure of upholstery, bedspreads, tablecloths and women's clothing fabrics in the room.

    Pike knits are divided into two as weft pique and warp pique.

    WARP PIQUE KNIT

    Warp pique weaves must be ground warp and pique warp, and the condition must be in two groups of warp yarns.

    It is appropriate to use a filling scarf so that the applied pattern can be more prominent. Two different beams are used for the equality of the ground and pique warps used in warp pique knitting. In my sequence used in warp pique knitting, it comes in the form of 2 ground / 1 pique, 3 ground / 1 pique, 4 ground / 1 pique.

    According to the set data;

    Total number of weft wires in the report: 6 wires

    The total number of warp wires in the report will be (6 x 2) + 6 = 18 wires.

    First, specifying the warp and weft wire numbers of the warp pique weave is the determining factor and the warp to string ratio 2 Ground weave / 1 Pike motif is marked.

    Then the ground weave is drawn on the ground warp threads.

    According to the set data;

    Total number of weft wires in the report: 8 wires

    The total number of warp wires in the report will be (8 x 2) + 8 = 24 wires .

    First, the warp and weft wire numbers of the warp pique weave are determined, and the warp-to-seam ratio 2 Ground weave / 1 Pike motif is marked.

    Then the ground weave is drawn on the ground warp threads.

    Since warp pique knits consist of two different warp groups, it is appropriate by making group drawing.

    The point to be considered while drawing the cross-sectional images of the Warp Pike Weaves is to show the warp movement of the cross-sections. Therefore, it means that there is a weft cross section. The interaction of the ground warp and the pique warp will be examined while taking the section, both warps should be included in the section view. It prefers the first two warp threads in the front. It is said that where the warp thread is on the top, it is the weft thread from the left of the point, and where it is below, it is provided.

    WEFT PIQUE KNIT

    Weft piqué weaves are knits made of two groups of weft yarn, namely ground knitting and piqué scarf. In addition to the ground warp, the padding warp is also. Pique wefts swimming on the reverse of the fabric rise to the surface of the fabric at certain points and make connections. This causes a longitudinal path to form on the surface of the fabric. Structurally, it shows similar properties to cord braids.

    First of all, the warp and weft wire numbers of the weft pique weave are determined, and the weft-to-stitch ratio 1 Ground weave / 1 Pike motif is marked.

    The point to be considered while drawing the cross-sectional view of weft pique knits is to make the cross section look for the movement of the weft. For this reason, it comes with the warp section. In order to investigate the interaction of the ground weft and the pique weft when taking a section, both wefts should be included in the cross-sectional image. Far prefers the first two weft threads. Where the weft thread is at the top, the warp thread is passed this way above the point, and where it is below, the warp thread is passed through.
