    Lap feeding part

    The material, which is formed into lap form in the sliver binder, is fed to the lap draw frame feeding section according to the number of doubling. Each bits taken from a lap are fed into the drafting part of the machine .

    The drafting part consists of grooved drafting rollers at the bottom and rubber-coated pressure rollers at the top. In this section, the highest fiber control and parallelization of the fibers are aimed. At the same time, laps formed as a result of folding and pulling tapes in the tape binder; here it is drawn and thinned. In order for the withdrawal to take place, the following conditions must be met:

    1-Gradually increasing peripheral velocities from the entrance to the exit between the drafting rollers.

    2- Adjusting the gauge between the draft rollers according to the fiber staple.

    3-The formation of holding points by applying a certain pressure between the grooved drafting rollers and the rubber-coated printing rollers.

    The lap ends, which are thinned by pulling in the drafting section, are rotated 900 and passed through the bent guide plates. It is collected on top of the feeding table. The laps are transmitted to the winding part.

    After the laps are thinned by pulling in the drafting part, they come to the winding part. Here, the material with a certain number is wound on the reel in the form of laps. When the lap is full, the machine stops and the lap is cut pneumatically. After the lap is freed from the side holders, the cover lifts up. The part holding the lap comes forward and pushes the full lap to the front of the machine. At the same time, it leaves the empty reel between the side holders and the machine starts working again. The full lap is pushed to the side by the pneumatic conveyor.

    Feeding the Machine

    The laps coming from the sliver binder (stuntler) are lined up to the feeding part of the machine. The end of each lap is taken and fed to the drafting section. The number of fed laps should be in accordance with the number of folding to be applied in the machine.


    Before starting production, the machine must be checked. Care should be taken to ensure that the covers are closed and that the settings and feeding are done. The machine is started by pressing the start button on the control panel. At the time of operation, when the laps in the feed are finished, they are replaced with full ones. In case of roller winding in the drafting part, the machine is stopped and the prints are cleaned. Breaks that will occur in the web delivery and errors in the winding part are followed and eliminated. The illuminated system on the machine shows us at which points the errors occur. According to the color of the light, the error is detected and corrected without losing time.


    The quality control of the production made on the machine is carried out regularly. For this purpose, a one meter long sample is taken from the lap. The sample is weighed on a precision scale and its weight is determined. The number is found over the values ​​obtained with the desired formula from the numbering systems. The measurements made are recorded somewhere. The unevenness of the lap is found using these measurement values ​​according to the zommer formula, tibbet factor or frequency factor method.

    Production by Results

    Production is made according to the number values ​​of the samples taken. Results are evaluated with a tolerance of ±5%. If the number is within the unevenness tolerances, production is continued. If there is a faulty production, the machine is stopped, the settings are checked, the samples are taken again, and the measurements are made. These processes are continued until the error is resolved.
