Circular Knitted RR-Interlock Jacquard Knits
  • Circular Knitting-RR Interlock Jacquard Knits

Interlock jacquard machines have a wide range of patterns according to their features. Basically, it is not much different from the rib jacquard system. Electronic jacquard machines have recently appeared in the textile market as rib-interlock jacquard machines.

The production of interlock jacquard knits is similar to the production of rib jacquard knits.

carries . While the pattern is formed on the front surface of the fabric, the colored threads used on the back surface are mixed.

The pattern is formed by the movement of the cylinder needles. According to the pattern, the thread that the cylinder needle should not knit is knitted on the cover. For example, according to the pattern report, the first color should knit four needles and skip four needles. In this case, the first color yarn is knitted on the cover, while the other color comes to the place where this color jumps on the cylinder.

The same method applies to the other color. It knits only in the cylinder where it should not knit on the cover. There are mechanical and electronic types of interlock jacquard knitting machines in the textile market. In the mechanical models, the pattern adjustment is done manually on the machine, while in the electronic jacquard models, the patterns made in the computer program are transferred to the machines with the help of carrier memories. Pattern range is wider in electronic jacquard machines.

In mechanical jacquard machines, patterns can be made mostly in the transverse direction and parallel to each other.

The process of preparing interlock jacquard knitting machines for knitting starts with the process of creating patterns in the computer environment in electronic jacquard machines. In the process of creating patterns on the computer, it is important how many color features the machine has. In the textile market, there are generally two models, 4 and 6 models. In jacquard machines, these expressions mean that 4 colors of yarn can be connected to a system. Therefore, the number of colors of the pattern that can be made with a 4-way jacquard machine should be between 1-4. If it has 6 threads, it means that six colors of thread can be connected to a system and a pattern can be created using 6 different colors of thread.

Pattern work is done on the computer, taking into account this feature of the machine. Then the pattern made is transferred to the machine with carrier memories. In mechanical jacquard machines, the pattern is created by working with the adjustment buttons on the system. Two types of patterns can be produced on mechanical jacquard machines. The first is the transverse striped patterns in the unlimited pattern, regardless of the number of systems, and the second is the patterns formed with three stitches.

While producing on jacquard knitting machines, the needle arrangement should be in the normal interlock arrangement. While creating patterns on electronic jacquard rib-interlock machines, it can sometimes be left in the rib pattern, that is, in the cross pattern.

In jacquard machines, steel changes are not made according to knitting. The steels on the machine are movable and can make all three steel movements according to the commands given when necessary. Adjustment of this is done by knobs on steel in mechanical jacquards.

These buttons are available on each steel as many as the number of threads that can be connected to a system. For example, in the 4 jacquard machine, there are 4 adjustment buttons on each system. Since the interlock machines are made of double steel, there are eight buttons in each system. Each of these buttons commands a color. For example, jumping to the first and third colors on the same system can be made to the second and fourth colors. In electronic jacquard systems, it is automatically selected which color the patterns loaded on the machine will be knitted in which system.

May setting in jacquard machines is the same as in other interlock knits. Pulley settings are important on jacquard machines. Sometimes, yarn consumption can be different for each system, depending on the pattern produced. In mechanical jacquard machines, the 4th machine is arranged in such a way that yarn is delivered from 4 pulleys, and 6 different pulleys.

In electronic jacquard machines, the yarn consumption of each system is different. In this case, since a separate pulley adjustment cannot be made for each system, the newly produced furnisor system is used.

This furnisor system does not have a pulley system. A separate recorder is installed for each system. The biggest feature of this technology is that it is managed by sensors. For example, as a requirement of the pattern, the color connected in a system should skip 5-6 needles. In the pulley system, in these cases, the rope will loosen as the furnisor continues to rotate at the same speed, but this does not occur in the recording furnior. Because as soon as the yarn is not knitting, it immediately notices the loosening and stops. Then, when the needles to be knitted by the system arrive, when the knitting starts, it detects the tension and starts the yarn delivery at constant tension. Thanks to this furnier, vertical lines caused by the setting of the fabrics are prevented.

Fabric drafting in jacquard knitting machines is usually sensored. because it is not fixed how many rows the machine knits in one round.

After making all the necessary settings on the machine, some fabric should be knitted for sampling. Knitting the sample fabric in jacquard fabrics is important in two respects: The first is the control of the basic knitting fault, and the second is the pattern control.

Jacquard fabrics should be handled more carefully when checking. First of all, it should be checked whether the fabric is in the desired weight. Then, the fabric should be cut large enough to show a complete pattern repetition and the pattern distribution should be checked.

The fabric with all controls may not have the desired properties. In this case, changes should be made in the machine settings for the desired features. If the sample has the desired property, the production of the fabric should be started. It should be noted that the same number of yarn is placed in the machine creels during production. If the produced machine is working for a long time, it should be checked by cutting samples from the fabric at certain intervals.
