    Circular (sock) hand knitting machines consist of 2 parts. 


    1- The arbor part: 


    Tension control spring, knot detector and tension wire in circular hand knitting machines serve the same purpose as flat hand knitting machines.

    It is the name given to the system that directs the yarn from the bobbin to the shuttle. It provides a smooth knitting by feeding the yarn to the machine at a certain tension. It is mounted on the rear bed. There is a bowl to place the waxed and bobbin thread, a ring to pass the thread through, a tension that adjusts the density of the thread.











    2-Body part: 


    a-Machine Body: 


    It is the main part consisting of casting that contains the elements of the circular knitting machine.

    It is located on the machine body. Each time the machine arm is turned, the one connected to this armThe gear transmits the movement to the sleeve bearing gear.     It is called the bed of needles in the machine. It is made of steel alloys. It is flexible enough that it can be straightened when crushed and soft. The number of the machine and the number of needles in the machine change according to the diameter of the roller. There is a needle spring on it to prevent the needles from slipping.








    d-Spindlewhat : 



    There are various needles used in circular (sock) hand knitting machines. Of these, hook-tipped (tongue) needles are the elements that work in the needle beds and perform the knitting.



    e-Steels (Lock Assemblyı: 



    It is the most important part of the machine, which enables the needles to make movements such as loops, hangers and one of the important parts. It has 5 cam steels on it. 2 of them are stationary and the other 3 are in motion. Steels 1 and 3 are moved up and down by means of a guide. If the 1 and 3 steels are in the up position, heel and toe formation is done. If the steels numbered 1 and 3 are in the down position, knitting is done. The number 2 steel needles are considered a guide. If it is in the down position, knitting is not done and the machine is locked. In the up position, the way for the needles to move is opened and knitting can be done.















    The sleeve is attached to the bearing gear. In circular (sock) hand knitting machine, the shuttle is fixed. Its task is to more smoothly transfer the threads to the tongues of the needles located in the roller.











    g-Machine Arm and Dişlist :



    It allows the machine to move. At each turn, the machine sprocket and then It enables the machine to work by moving the sleeve bearing gear. Machine sprocket eachmoves the row counter per turn.

    At the completion of each round of the machine, the machine rotates thanks to the sprocket.Shows how many turns it has turned. It is two parts.     1-Heel attachment: 



    It is used for the formation of heel and toe in circular (sock) hand knitting machines. The wide mouth of the heel attachment is used to raise half of the needles in the sleeve.












    2-Tire apparatus: 



    It is attached to the machine body with the thumbscrew on the locking device. Made in casting. It has thread guide, shuttle and needle selector apparatus. The rubber passed through the thread guide is transferred to the needle tongues by passing the thread through the shuttle. needle selector

    The apparatus, on the other hand, pushes 1 needle forward, ensuring that the needle does not pick up the rubber thread. The needle knits by simply picking up the cotton thread from the thread guide. The needle selector does not interfere with the other needle, and that needle knits by taking both the rubber thread and the cotton thread, this process is repeated once and a rubber is formed.
